DanubEcon draws on more than 10 years of international experience across matters involving mergers, abuse of dominance, vertical and horizontal agreements, and private litigation. The economic analysis we offer combines our knowledge of economic theory with the rigorous analysis of empirical evidence and data and is presented in a clear, concise, and factually sound manner. We collaborate closely with our clients to answer their specific needs and support them in understanding the issues they face and in making optimal decisions.
DanubEcon is led by Ferenc Pető who has extensive experience in working with leading international law firms, and with corporations from a wide range of industries, including the financial sector, telecommunications, technology, pharmaceuticals, and others.
Ferenc has worked on cases before the UK Competition and Markets Authority (and its predecessors), the UK Competition Appeal Tribunal, the High Court of England and Wales, the European Commission, as well as several national competition authorities across the European Union.
He holds an MSc Economics from the Barcelona School of Economics, an MSc in Economics from the Corvinus University of Budapest, and a PG Dip in EC Competition Law from King’s College London.
